Game Thread: Vikings vs. Texans Cook Off
Damn, I could really go for some Texas BBQ right now. I can smell it I want it so bad. It mixes smell and taste somewhere on the back of my tongue. GUH.
Anyway, welcome to another Purple Jesus Diaries Game Thread. We're back for the final time during the preseason, which means the next time you'll see a game thread it will actually be during a Sunday afternoon (because the Vikings don't play in prime time, silly!) and the game will mean something. Because this one clearly doesn't. I mean, Joe Webb is starting for god sakes. I'm guessing Jared Allen, Kevin Williams, Antoine Winfield, and likely even Toby Gerhart will be out. TOBY GERHART!! It's come to this people.
So enjoy tonight's glorified scrimmage. The fact that people in Texas are paying full admission price for these tickets is absolutely criminal. NFL Gotti, in full effect. What a load of shit. I'd tell those fans to enjoy watching Lex Hilliard, Stephen Burton, Marvin Mitchell, and others, but I honestly don't know if I remember other 4th stringer's names to try and drop them here. So whatever. Grab your drink, turn on this flabby excuse for football, and let's laugh at people. It's what we do best.

@jakewp11 @CollegeWolf He is. I'm pretty sure I predicted he'd end up making the 53 because of his "steady veteran presence" (which is totally debatable), and this game has probably sealed that up.

I'm glad we soon don't have to see all these people we don't know play. I thought I just saw Shiancoe blocking for Greg Lewis on a punt return.
@CollegeWolf I have it on... i guess. It's streaming on one computer while I'm working on another computer. Peckers/Chiefs are on my TV since I live in WI.

Also, PAs suck-off job on McLeod Bethel-Thompson is beyond outrageous. There is a zero percent chance that shit head makes the roster, unless Paul Allen jacks Zygi Wilf off in Winter Park's Vikings ship tonight.

I totally thought the Alabama and Michigan game was tonight and not Saturday. That kind of ruins my evening. Now I have to watch fucking Vanderbilt. BOO.
