Game Thread: Bears vs. Vikings Once Again!

Bears Vikings

Will the roof hold up under this Minnesota snow?!

Welcome to another Purple Jesus Diaries Game Thread! Today, the Chicago Bears visit the Minnesota Vikings in their final match up of the season. The Bears are collapsing on their season faster than a child's blanket fort when they piss me off and I kick the thing to shreds. The Vikings are holding on to the last vestige of playoff hope, and if they lose today - while not technically, mathematically eliminated - their season is pretty much over. Is that a bad thing? Are we at the point where we want someone to just put us out of our misery?

Either way, the Vikings have a surprisingly decent shot at a win today. The Bears are trying to plug up more of their injury holes in their lineup today than a 5-star porno. The Vikings play surprisingly well at home for a squad that has a noodle for a quarterback. None of that matters, because I want to see Adrian Peterson keep pace for a 2,000 yard season.

So tune in, cheer on the good guys (I guess?), and let's get nasty. Enjoy the game, everyone.

Harrison Smith is a PIMP in the making.  And Cuntler got hurt bwahahahahahaha!

Too bad though we are still going to miss the playoffs AND we'll now get a lesser draft pick. :-(

And why hasn't Jared Allen been traded for draft picks yet? Isn't he a FA soon? Like after this season or next? You are telling me we couldn't get some primo picks from a contender-ish team that needs a DE sack specialist??? Geez, such failure.

Purple Jesus is clearly a GOD among men. One of the best RB's ever. And look what he's got "helping" him on offense!!?! Just unreal what he's doing LESS THAN A YEAR AFTER MAJOR KNEE SURGERY!

Pretty ugly game, but a win is a win, I guess. You take a look at the playoff standings, and amazingly we're only one spot out of the division lead. Can the Lions beat the Pack-shits tonight? That would be wild.

The team is still not very good, however.
