Game Thread: Packers vs. Vikings is All That Matters
OK ladies, this is it. Here we go. Everyone take a deep breathe and try not to get nervous tummies where you have to poop a bunch. We need you for the long haul.
It's the final game of the Minnesota Vikings' regular season, and they're playing the Green Bay Packers. If the Vikings win, they're playing again next week like a boss. If they lose today, they still could play again next week, but more like a dog with it's tail between it's legs rather than a boss. Or they couldn't be playing at all, if the Giants, Bears, or Cowboys all win. We don't like that. So just win and make this simple.
It's a big day, so let's jump in another Purple Jesus Diaries Game Thread that hopefully isn't the last one of the year. Let's see if Adrian Peterson becomes living history. Let's see if Christian Ponder stops playing like a lion cub for one week. Let's see if Mason Crosby continues to be a huge dick head (please!). Let's see if we can cap off this ridiculously unexpected season and sneak into the playoffs.

I'll be in Wisconsin all day, surprisingly, spending a delayed Christmas time with extended family during the game who are all Packer fans. I am prepared to act like a total shit head whether the Vikings win or lose, but I really am hoping they win and put frowns on all their faces. Merry Christmas, losers!

New prediction: Bears, Giants, and Cowboys all win when we need them to lose, Vikings lose when we need them to win. Classic Minnesota sports weekend.
Starting to feel sick to my stomach. Feel like this could be a classic Vikings meltdown, a blow-out loss. Someone talk me down from the ledge.
This IS a Home playoff game. In a "rebuilding year" (predicted to be 6-10) Id say THIS is a great game for PURPLE to be in. Lets go AP. So say it with me one time... IT IS ALL VIKING FOOTBALL!
